dell desktop parts -> new computer

I'm buying a SFF barebone and was wondering if I could just use the parts from my 3 year old dell desktop and put it into it.

The SFF barebone is new...takes a pentium 4 processor and mine is a pentium 4 1.8 ghz, as long as it's pentium 4...do I need to know anything else to see if it's compatible with the new motherboard or not?

I'm pretty sure the hard drive, optical drive, and gfx card will work so I'm not concerned with it.

Are you talking about moving the parts into a desktop or a laptop here?

SFF is just a tiny desktop..
so basically, desktop parts to another desktop with new motherboard/case.

The HDD and optical will be fine, and so will the GPU if it will fit. Not sure about the CPU. You need to compare the processor specs for both motherboards.
