Do you have that annoying white line on the bottom of the screen in non native resolutions? I did until I installed 5.3 version of the drivers.
Of the notebooks with X700 and (W)SXGA screens please vote.

i got it by playing WE8 or PES5 on 1280x920 (cause the game has no option higher than that)
using CCC 5.9 or omega 5.9 still have the white bar at the bottom,
this's sucks :(

After installing Catalyst 5.9, I have the white line too in non-native resolutions. It's really annoying, because I have so many games that will not run in 1280x800.
PS. I don't have an Acer notebook, i have aa ASUS A6Va notebook.
I will try some older drivers.
Edit: Tried older drivers, and even with Catalys 5.2 I still have the white line, even in Windows in non-native resolutions. But when i uninstall the drivers, and i set the resolution to 1024x768 and other non-native resolutions, I don't see the line. It must be a driver problem i geuss.
Edit2: Installing Catalyst 5.8 with Catalyst Control Center, solved the problem here. Catalyst 5.8 with the Control Panel works fine here. For all with the white line problem, try installing Catalyst 5.8!

I have the white line as well... (currently using the newest omega drivers based on 5.9)
But as far as I remember I had the same white line with the stock drivers... so I don't think it's the omega drivers...

Driver issue. I don't have the line with stock drivers. I find the white line after I switch to Cata. 5.9

Hmm with Catalyst 5.8 i still have the problem, but only on 800x600 and lower. I'm tired of the annoying white line so I installed the drivers on the driver CD supplied with my A6Va. No problems at all now, and I can game perfectly. :)

Almost the same here, i only have the white line on the bottom of the screen with resolutions lower than 800x600. Thats not a problem for me. I think that CATALYST 5.11 will solve all my problems.

Sorry for the big kick, but my problem is fixed. I sent my laptop to ASUS for a rma for this problem. They replaced the LCD screen with a panel from other a other manufacturer. The white line is gone now! With every resolution and every other driver.
