Hi guys. I would like to buy one of those(simply AMD fan to the bone :dude: ) because the possibility of running WinXP64 is just terrific and do not have enough money for Ferrari.
I`ve read a lot about the graphic card`s memory drawback but hey...Is this X700 physically different comparing to X700 w128MB Ram? If not why wouldn`t be possible to add another 64 megs in the empty slots?
PS: Is out there anyone who can check it out in the actual laptops...someone told me that x700 is just the part of the chipset....I believe he is mistaken.

Tnx for echo :awgreen:

Just so you know there is a good alternative that I'm looking at atm. The MSI MS-1029 Turion 64 MT(25w) + ATI 128MB X700. It's a new system and it is just now becoming available.

Is the places I have found so far where you can order a complete MSI MS-1029 system.

To answer the original question, no, you can't just add RAM to a graphics card. I don't know the technical details, but it certainly doesn't work that way.

Cool :bouncy:
TNX very much, partner. I can`t believe this. This all for price so silly. So far I configured it for a little more above $1400 at CYBERPOWER packing it with Turion 1.8Ghz 1MB cache, 1gig of Corsair XMS RAM, X700 and 7200rpm HDD!!!! This is just screaming for attention. TNX and I hope U`ll start a new thread about it.
PS: I CANNOT WAIT FOR BENCHMARK SCORES TO BE UNVEILED :santa:
