Just on occasion. I'll check task manager and there is a program called QtZtAcer that takes up 99 percent of my CPU power while I'm trying to load things... i checked in the registry and it belongs to the Launch manager, and I'm wondering if there is any way i can stop it from loading. I don't use those buttons anyway (I use Objectdock)... And every time I restart my computer with something changed in msconfig it tells me something is wrong and I must restart my computer... so I just leave everything running (even though I don't want it to).

Try Startup Control Panel.... nice tool that allows you to modify what processes are loaded at startup, be it from registry or from startup folder.

it's not required for running the machine ... mine is running quite fine without loading launchmanager ...

Mine used up to 53% of the CPU constantly just running outlook. Most unfortunately because of that and many issues including an Acer rep that won't call me back we have retained an attorney.
