How many people out there have sent their acer in to be fixed only to have it returned saying that they could not duplicate the problem?

We are suing them, and I hate lawyers and lawsuits but Acer SUCKS in terms of support.

Has anyone had good experiences with Acer, so your laptop was fixed w/o any problems.

Sorry to hear about your situation Muddy.

I sent an email support request few weeks ago asking for a fan related issue. Thankfully I have solved this on my own, because I have not received any answer yet...

It seems to me that Acer support is not serious, I am sorry for saying that, but customers can not be ignored, no way

The Slimtype DVDR/RW drive in my notebook died recently, and I couldn't be more pleased with the support I received from Acer. I phoned their Tech Support line and spoke with a very courteous CSR who told me exactly what steps to take, and upon doing so things went almost too smooth. Purolator's Courier service picked it up at my home at around 4 pm on a Thursday, it was shipped out to their repair centre in Missasauga Ontario by air, and I received it back at my home the following Tuesday as right as rain. In the interim I received no less than 4 emails from Acer keeping me updated as to the status of the repairs, and the subsequent "shipping out" date back to my home. I couldn't be more pleased. I have been a multiple Dell desktop owner previously, and Acer's service meets or exceeds Dells in every way. I would recommend an Acer notebook to anyone if for no other reason than this. Not to mention of course that this notebook is an exceptional product, and has met my requirements in every way.
