I have picked out the Acer 1694WLMi as a laptop that I may purchase because it has features that HP, Toshiba, Sony, etc do not have for the same price. It has an Intel Pentium M Processor 760 / 2GHz, 512MB DDR2-533 RAM expandable to 2GB, 80 GB ATA-100 hard disk drive (4200 rpm)dual layer DVD burner, wide screen, card reader etc.
However, I am not sure about the reliability and after sales service of Acer compared with other brands.
Can anyone comment please on the reliability of ACER compared with HP etc?
