Well heres a first me asking the community for help rather then vice versa.
I have 4 drives PATA 200GB PATA DVD+RW SATA 80GB SATA 160GB
At anytime if I try to access my PATA drives the systems slowsdown to a crawl which is a huge issue since I use my dvd rom drive all the time and id love to start using my 200gb. All drives are correctly seated and are running in UDMA mode of some kind either 5 or 2 so running in PIO mode isnt the issue. I know there is a relatively easy fix for this but since I dont know the technical term for this kind of problem I cannot find a solution here or on :google: Programs I have that could have effected the install is Nero7 and Daemon 4.03 so whos got some suggestions for me?
