help with reformat!

Hey all,
Where do I go to reformat the computer? I did it once before with the help of tech support. Now a friend needs to do it on his 6000 but I dont remember how to do it (the reformat with the preloaded windows setup on the partition). How do we get to that so he can reformat? Thanks all.

If I dont have the xp cd because dell didnt give it to me, how do I burn it onto a cd?
