View Full Version : Blue Screen of Death from BF2

Thx in advance for any help I receive- First time here-

Situation- While playing BF2 on my Dell Inspirion XPS laptop--Original model---occaisionaly the game will crash to a blue screen with vertical rows of white dots----My Specs;
XPS LapTop- 3.4 ghz/60 HD(20%free)/2 gigs DDR Ram-Windows XP service pack2
Radeon 9700 vid card 128 mb---Cable connection
Bios and vid driver are up to date- I even did an uninstall and re-install of the card's drivers and the game istelf-
Thx in advance again for any help I receive I really appreciate it-

PS- IS there any way I can remove the cover of my Laptop?---it is getting worn out

This has been a topic thats been brush upon and requires lots of feed back thus why no one really wants to answer it. Run a search for XPS BSOD or XPS Blue Screen to get the answers you need.

Long story short its either driver related or you just need the clean out the dust in the old girl.

As for the cover you can buy a new one that latches on top of the old one. I would inqure Dell Spare parts or the Dell home website to see if they have any more available.
