The question was embarrassingly answered.

With most browsers, simply hitting the backspace key will take you back a page.

Could I feel any dumber? I must have missed that class at intro to microcomputers! How do I delete this entire thread before anyone else reads it? Thanks so much for sharing one of the simplest bits of information I've ever had to ask for.

It's okay. This is an anonymous internet forum and we have absolutely no idea who you are, Ed.

Crash & Odious,
Thanks so much gentlemen! Anomymous, yes but really I'm just another older guy that truly enjoys notebook computers and more importantly, enjoys learning endlessly from guys like the two of you. I can't tell you how much I've learned from this Great Forum! Everything I've learned cost me zero, zip, nada, not one thin dime. The best part about it is that even though I can't afford the latest and greatest machine, it's sure a ton of fun watching the others trying to keep up with the technology and if I ever hit the lotto, I'd probably run right out and buy the latest Quad Core, 128 Bit machine with a 27" screen and by then, maybe they'll even have a draft beer system on board! Now that would be nice!
Thanks again!
Ed

Ahem, you probably meant 40", 'cause 30" is already out. :D
Alright, alright, I couldn't resist - it's only 06:20 here and I'm already working.
