Infrared on Aspire 5510 - Can't get it to see my Ipaq

Got my first Acer (I've defected from my old Vaio) and I love it. Only thing is, Infrared doesn't recognise my Ipaq (despite most other Acer and Sony models detecting it straight away in the shop when I popped back for advice). I think it must be a driver issue or I need to fiddle with settings, but I've no idea how. I've never used infrared before, just USB link. I can use the PDA via USB, as I've already but when you've got the tech, you might as well use it!

I know the infrared is not completely duff as the remote control for the media stuff works fine.

Any (very basic, I stress I have no idea what settings should say what) advice appreciated please!

Hi, sorry i cant help with your prob, but was just looking for some feed back on your laptop! Im tempted by a 5510 and just wondered if you had any feed back on it, apart from the infra red! btw, what spec did you get?
