View Full Version : Temps on Acer 5672
So I just received my new 5672 from Newegg (thanks to all the info on forum) and have pretty much everything setup. So far so good. Only thing I cant figure out is how to check the temps. I tried I9kfangui but that only showed the hdd temp and nothing else. Speedfan shows hdd 47C and Temp1 56C. Any other apps out there or is it just the Acer lacks the sensors (how about gpu)? Any other tips for a new 5672 owner? Friggin awesome notebook btw , only thing Im worried about is the heat issue everyone mentions.

I use Notebook Hardware Control version 1.10beta03 - http://www.pbus-167.com/chc.htm#anchor_download
It gives you a display of the hard drive temperature, CPU temperature, CPU load, speed switching mode, and CPU speed in the system tray (all configurable in case you don't want all that). It is a nice little app. The beta02 had some problems with blue screening, but after a quick email to author, he had 03 out and now I have not had a single BSOD using the new version.
