Acer ferrari batterie longer life ? how ?

i whant to know i got a acer ferrari, i whant to know some trick, or tip to make my batterie work much longer ( sorry for my poor english :S), like i know after maybe 3-4 years the batterie will maybe not work. so do you have some trick for the acer ferrari batterie ?

When you have the laptop plugged into the power, take the battery out and keep it in a cool place.
