I've read a few posts from people talking about the CPU temp in their laptops... I have a new 5672 x1600... the keyboard/touchpad gets warm but never hot at all. But I was wonder what everyone used to check the temperature of their CPU's.

I also tried to look for an utility program that shows the CPU temp in the taskbar tray. Only thing I found was something that showed my harddrive temp.

If anyone has something they use, let me know will ya? =)

Thanks,

Phil.

This program will show the CPU temp in a small box on your screen.

As Spartos said, Mobile Meter is a great program.

I use the AMD Power Now! Dashboard from the AMD site. Also has cpu speed, battery savings, voltage, cpu temp.

doesn't want to install on the 5672. Could it be that the 5672 uses Intel parts?;)

BTW I use the Notebook Hardware Control utility drio linked to above.
Works with all processors and does everything the AMD tool does and more. Again AMD seem to be lacking. LOL
