i think they did a bios update like in may, which included merom so i would think if they went as far as merom, updated bios, that a 2.33ghz would have been forseen, shit this is going quick, there already talking about quad core's, but they need to develop a better cooling method, i stated before i figured the reason there not saying laptop, but notebook is to stop dummy's who can't tell there hot when these are on there laps.... it would almost be something i would look into getting (the 2.33) but yea, merom release date is getting so close, couldn't justify 600 bucks when one with lower power consumption will be out in a few

Thats what I'm thinking. Its gonna be stupid fast compared to the T2300 :dude: I only get about about an hour 45min from full charge. Hopefully the newer faster proc will be easier on teh battery.

Probably the opposite...A faster processor usually means less battery.

EDIT: Sorry I thought you were refering to the yonah not the merom :S
