I currently have in my possesion a Acer Aspire 5672WMLI and I am curious about a few things.....

1. I play MMORPG and I choose to use a laptop jusr by personal preference....however I dont do a lot of multi tasking.

I am considering going to a Acer 8204 because of the amount of dedicated Video ram is higher than the 5672 ...but with hyper memory they are both at 512 ....

I was curious since I have read that AMD processors are better for gaming if I should go with the HIGH end Ferrari instead....however with its 128 MD Video card maybe it wont be what I need.

Does the Ferrari also use Hypermemory as well or no?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions as dumb as some of them may seem....

Have a great day.

the last gen. of ferrari laptops are pretty outdated now... you can get much better (like the 8204 for example) for much cheaper.
or you can wait for the new sereis to release soon,, though expect to pay a lot.
If what you have now is working fine why upgrade?
if not then you may as well ;)
Also dont just force your self with acer. The 8204 sounds great on paper but some people have had troubles with older builds.. do you want to take that chance?
Plus if you looka round you can find another laptop for equal or less price with the same specs. after ordering my 8204 i found that I coudl ahve got a custom built ASUS with EXACTLY the same specs for around 300 dollars less. But was to late to cancel my order.
Also if your willing to spend a little more you can even get a laptop with some better specs.

the card has 128mb of ddr3 ram, and uses you system ram as needed but not beyong 512, how much system ram do you have? should go for 2gb, that way you don't miss the amount used, also i really recommend a full format of your harddrive if you haven't done so, the paritioning system on the 5672 set up by acer cripples the performance, and makes it sub par, WARNING: lol if you format your harddisk you lose your PQSERVICE parition, and your recovery setup of xp, so make sure you have a valid copy of XP to use, if it is home, i think you can use the product key on the underside of your machine, but i suggest xp pro, just thing seem a bit smoother on there for some reason, oh and load Omega Drivers instead of ATI, ATI never could work right on my pc, always funked up my graphics and didn't let me use certain resolutions in ATI suggested games...it was wierd, but the guy who makes the omega drivers did a outstanding job.
