Just received my 8600 :)

Well I've been playing around with it for more than a day ... Nothing too exciting so far. I did play dvds and playback is great.

So I haven't really noticed any screen problems even though some ppl expressed problems with SXGA+ which is what i got. How do i check again which manufactured screen i received?

I played COD on 1024x768 with everything turned on and no problems so far.

I'm pretty happy with the purchase so far ... I guess I have 28 days to make up my mind if I really want to keep it ;)

Go to dell's website and click on your account and then find the online invoice under customer care.

Go to www.support.dell.com, and enter in your service tag. Then on the left hand side, click the "original configuration" link. Then click the "System As Shipped" link. This will tell you all you need to know.
