Dell 9400 or Acer 5672

Well after searching and reading articles I've narrowed it down to two notebooks. Some background on what I plan to use it for. Desktop replacement, gaming (not crazy hardcore, but I like my gaming), but mostly I plan to use it as a multimedia computer which I plan to hook up to the TV and use it as a PVR to.

Dell 9400 vs Acer 5672

Dell is $500 more
Dell has duo 2400 vs Acer duo 2300
Dell is 17inch Acer is 15.4
Acer has sdpif so I could hook up to the hometheater.
Acer has 1600 the dell has 7900 gpu
Acer doesnt come with windows media edition, but I guess I could always pick up a copy.

Im so on the fence on this one, theres pros and cons for each. please push me to either side.

Take a look at the HP business laptops - nc8430 and nc8440 .
Magnesium cage, dual core, 256 mb X1600 and the works... also HP business class support.

nc8430 goes for 1399 at tigerdirect.

u got to get the 9400. Its awesome, the 7900 enough is a reason to get the dell. I've got it and I searched around for a while, the 17" isn't too big, and its very powerful. for a good price.

You should get the Asus s96j (or Z96j) instead of the acer if you decide to go for the smaller size (15.4").
