Here you go:

EDIT: Well, unfortunately that manual does not tell you how to get to the actual LCD. Here's how I did it recently with my 9300. No doubt it's very similar.

Hm...i can't seem to get the bezel off. it's stuck at only one place, around the left speaker. everywhere else has come off. any ideas on how to get the bezel completely off?

Are you sure that you've removed all the screws? If so, then there is probably just one stubborn tab left to unhook. Take a close look through the crack and see if you can spot that tab.

My i9300's bezel was a bear to remove on the lower left side as well, but I just took my time gently pulling and pushing on it until finally it came off. Good luck with it!

looking at front there are four screws at the top and three at the bottom. The one left of the wifi icon is tricky, remove the thin plactic piece with a small screw driver or exacto knife to reveal the last screw.

Thanks for that tip.

I was pulling and pushing and after a while I kind of ripped the plastic around it...oops.

I'm really hoping I can resolve this issue myself, as it probably is a loose cable behind the LCD. When I started the computer last night half if the monitor was working, a big improvement from when it was white with vertical stripes on it.

BTW, if anyone knows, after taking off the LCD, exactly which cable am I looking for to reseat?

Reseat all of the connections. Mine had three, one fat cable with a connection at top and bottom--and a small white connector at the lower left corner (looking at the back of the LCD panel.)

Well, after reseating the cable (there seems to be only one big one on the back of the LCD panel), I still get a white screen. Which leads me to think that there is something else.

I don't want to hassle with sending my latop back to Dell, so I'd rather just replace the screen itself, by myself.

Does anyone know where I can get a full screen assembly for the 700m (besides eBay)? If those are not offered I guess I can just get the LCD panel and move all the cables/etc to it.

Thanks for your help thus far.

May not even be the panel. I reccomend you bite th ebullet and send th eunit back to dell. The turn around time is pretty quick if you do it on a monday you may even see it by friday.

I guess I could go ahead and send the unit back to dell...

btw, what's the process for sending it back? Do they use DHL as their courrier?

Yes call in and they send an empty prepaid box to you assuming they think its a hardware issue they cant fix over the phone. Be warned you might have an hour of your life taken from you via phonecall.
