Not sure where to put this so into general it goes. Onto business though, how much is this notebook worth at the moment?

IBM Thinkpad R51 2883-ELU

XP Pro

Pentium M 1.6ghz processor

768megs of ram (PC2700)

40 gig 5400 RPM hard drive

14.1 inch display XGA (no dead pixels as far as i can tell)

DVD/CD-RW

Built in wifi (b/g) and 10/100 NIC card and 56k fax modem

Touchpad and Touchpoint

USB, S-Video, and VGA out ports

Battery holds a full charge

Comes with an extra keyboard and a car/airplane adapter.

It's a thinkpad, it's perfect for what i need, and it already comes with a car adapter which i was going to buy anyways if it didn't come with the package. I'll reveal the price later, but for now i'm trying to find out if i got a decent deal or i got ripped (as far as i can tell it was a decent deal but you good people decide how much i overpayed or underpayed.)

I would estimate around $600. The R Series is more of the budget version of the Thinkpads although still very high quality.

Nope no warranty, don't really care about it either, it's just a pesky thing that gets in the way when you want to open the lappy up and mess with something. ez2remember was right on the money though $600, guess it was a fair deal for both sides.
