Hi,
I'm just wondering when dell ships you out a item like, I needed a new battery since mine was making a whiny noise. Do they send you a new or refurbished one? I heard answers for both? not sure, thanks in advance

Refurb. its in the service contract that they can send refurb or new, whichever they like.

The only way they send you a new part is if you have only had it under 21 days.

Batteries are usually in great working condition however and definetly reconditioned for extended use. Its not like they'll send you one that works only for 10 days ya know?

ahh i see isee, hopefully the battery I get is of good quality

never heard of one that didnt last at least a year reconditioned or not.
