Just picked up a Precision M65 off craigslist, my first new (to me) computer in almost 10 years! ;-)

I will use it mostly for work, but I also feel the video game itch coming back and I'm wondering if there is a decent video card out there that would fit into the PCI slot of the D-Dock for this thing?

It's got the FX 350M which I'm very happy with but isn't optimized for gaming.

I used to be very up to date on all these things, but that was 10 years ago - anyone know of a card that will fit the D-Dock and outperform the FX 350M for gaming applications?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

The only videocard you could actually use that would be considered gaming oriented would be the X1300 which is more or less the same as what you have in your system now. In some cases your card is better especially since its not running on an aging PCI slot. the FX350 should do well in gaming just dont expect it to fly with colors with everything turned up.

Yeah, the FX350M is going to do alot better than anything you can put in that PCI Slot. That PCI slot is double nerfed because of the fact that it is actually connected to the laptop via USB. Use it for a sound card, or eSATA card.
