XPS more than i need,like to replace, so now what are my options

A couple months ago i purchased a XPS M1710 just before entering college. Now, i def have more computer than i need. Its got great power and function, but it is HUGE and distracting to bring into class. Not to mention that they basically have a 2 hour batterie life. So what are my options? I basically want to find any way i can to down-grade to a smaller laptop to fit my life style. Any suggestions are useful.

Well, you are way too late to do any kind of satisfaction warrenty return or such through Dell. So as I see it you have a couple options:

1. Buy a new notebook more suited to your mobile needs and use the M1710 as a 'home computer' for games and such.

2. Sell the M1710 (via ebay or the For Sale board on this website) and use the money to finance a more suitable model.

3. Organize a trade, your M1710 for a smaller model. You can do this via a thread in the For Sale section of this board as well (and you should get a few offers there for that nice gaming rig).
