Recovering deleted user profile in win2K pro?? Please help

Please help with this issue. I deleted a user's corrupt profile to Recycle Bin, logged off and user logged in, verified that the recreation of the user profile solved the issue (files were not associating correctly een after uninstalling/reinstalling app). User logged off and I logged back on. I planned to restore the user's profile via Recycle Bin but it was empty! What is the best tool (freeware, shareware, demo, or pay, etc) to get the profile back? The user has a ton of docs, PDF, etc files in the My Documents folder, so if there is an app that will recover everything within the user's profile just by searching on the user's profile, that is a huge plus, e.g. I select user123 profile and all the user's desktop shortcuts, documents, etc are restored. Using win2K pro. Ugg if only win2K pro had XP's recovery capabilities... *sigh* How could this happen?? Please help! Thanx in advance

There is a simple to use program out called RecoverMyFiles. I forget the site off hand, but a google search will yeild it for you. There is much better software out there than this, but it does the job. And I suspect if you have to ask what software is available, you may not know how to use some of the better and harder to use programs.
