e1705 Ram Upgrade questions.

Ive been lookin for ram for my laptop. found this.
CORSAIR ValueSelect 2GB (2 x 1GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300)

is this good? ive always known corsair to be a good company but the whole "ValueSelect" raises an eyebrow. Will this work in my system? thx

Thats what I use (BEST BUY FTW) Nothing wrong with it at all.

My understanding with the value select line, is it does not over clock very well, but since you cannot OC this laptops CPU it should not be a problem, The memory should be fine for the E1705

Yep, I just ordered exactly the same as you yesterday, 2x 1GB Corsair ValueSelect! lol...

Yep ram worked. now sportin 2 gbs in my e1705. when i first put it in it didnt work, so i swapped the sticks around and didnt have a prob since. NewEgg kicks ass!

will 512 MB of dell ram work with 1 gb of corsair = 1.5gb?
