Hey all,
Yesterday my XPS got here (4 days early!) and I have been enjoying it immensly. But...
Just then i decided to check out the free 9-cell battery I got so - I turn the laptop over, and slide the latch across. Except that the latch go to the end without any 'click' as it says in the manual, and the battery doesnt move either. Now the latch only moves from half way to the release position, but doesnt go back to its rest position, and the battery is still holding on and wont budge.
Am i missing something here? Dont tell me i have to send it back already...

Update:
I can move the slider back to the original position, with a plastic snapping noise (though nothing snaps it still sounds bad), but when u slide it across it doesnt release anything.
