Hi folks,

Before to take the final decision about to switch to a mac, could you suggest me a macbook-like "traditional" win laptop? Same specs and about same dimensions (size, weight, screen). About same price of course:-) I wasn't able to find nothing better than the macbook. But I may suck using google:-p

thanks!

You realize this is the linux section, right?

A PC laptop of similar specs to a Mac laptop is going to be a lot cheaper than a real mac. A good place to look would be some of the Asus laptop dealers. Theres a lot of them with specs equal to and even better than a Macbook with a much smaller price tag.

see the newegg Asus Store...great place to start. But from your text it sounds like you're sold on a macbook so just get that if you love it so much and deal with the seriously jacked up price.

Now I'm sure, I'm suck with google:-p Actually, I can only find laptop with same specs and about same price. But nothing that "much smalle price". Ok I forgot to tell you I have a 100$ educational discount on mac store:-)

This isn't much like a macbook, but I was impressed with the value:
