View Full Version : C840/M50 BIOS required for Quadro4 700 Go GL?

Got a nice deal on an nVidia Quadro4 700 Go GL for my Inspiron 8200.

I've installed it without any problems that I can tell, but I read somewhere that the I8200 BIOS does not support this card.

Will I run into problems eventually? Do I need to install the C840/M50 BIOS?

Thanks in advance for any experience shared.

Well if the card is working AT ALL then you're ok. As long as you use drivers from laptopvideo2go or Omegas you'll be ok. The drivers Dell lets you download key off the BIOS. I flashed my i8200 to a C840 BIOS so I could use a Latitude Dock and Dell's drivers for my Geforce2 go wouldn't install. Omegas fixed me right up though.
