Hi, hope anyone can help me, my Aspire 3003LC has trouble booting up sometimes it wont even show the Acer screen i have to keep turning the power button on and off, and when it finally boots past the acer screen sometimes it just shows a black screen at this point the hard drive light just stays on no flickering etc. so i have to switch it off again and try and boot up again in which just before windows load (the welcome screen) the screen goes black other than coloured vertical lines down the screen then i switch off again then start up again untill i finally get into windows. then the computers fine i can restart or shutdown and theres no problem it only goes like this on first use of the day could someone please help its doing my head in ive done the following upto now...
1, reformatted hard drive and done a clean install
2, replaced hard drive (Although not cause of the problem i needed a bigger one)
3, Sent it back to acer
Laptop Specs.....
AMD Sempron CPU 3000+ 1.8GHz
702MB Ram
80GB Hard Drive
Windows Vista Home Premium (use to be on XP Home and still had the problem)
Any help greatly appreciated thanks
