Hi, I picked up one of the Acer Aspire 9410-2597 that was mentioned in another thread for being really cheap at CompUSA. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the system. The dual core isn't helping multi-tasking as much as I had expected, but the system is still acceptably zippy with Vista.
However, I've been getting about 1 blue screen a day from Vista in the 3 days I've had it. It's always a Bugcheck 124, which is a Machine Check, which usually indicates either a driver or hardware fault.
Has anyone seen this type of thing before? I'm thinking about taking it back to be exchanged or returned if they don't have more.
