Is there an easy way of cleaning of the dust in the fan without voiding the warrenty, or will it have to be taken to a service center?

If there is such a way, please give a detailed guide on how to do it, thanks.

I doubt that is a safe thing to do? :)

Just open up the bottom peice with a simple small screwdriver and use either compressed air or a small vacuum.

I don't see why cleaning out ur system of dust voids ur warranty...

The warrenty issue depends on how much you need to take it apart.

What bottom piece do I need to remove in order to get access to the fan?
As far as I can tell there isn't any of those pieces that gives access to the fan and exhaust?

You don't need to take it apart, just a bunch of covers from the bottom of the laptop. And that does not void anything. Look at ur manual if u got one, or search online. If not just start taking apart the covers and see what you find. They will definitely unvail the memory, hdd, cpu fan and even the mini pci.

I just tried the vacumn cleaner.

Took the dvd drive out and put it on the table and sucked it dry :)

It's now on a stable 66C (went to 68C for a very very short period of time when I opened both superpi and prime95, but down to 66C again within a few seconds).

So from ~80C to 66C is pretty good :)
