Upgrade Memory Acer 2423 WXCI

Hi.

I recently purchased a 1 Gb memory for my Notebook (Acer 2423 WXCI). The memory specs are 1GB DDR2 PC2-3200 SODIMM. Further on I got word from a friend that the speed for my Notebook should be 4200, and not 3200. If I install this 3200 memory on my Notebook, will it work ? Could it damage my Notebook ?

No it's not gonna damage ur notebook, it's just gonna make the other memory in ur system run at the slower speed. I do suggest that you at least get the 4200 speed. 3200 won't hurt, but it will be running slower.
