about aero on our dells

Since Aero makes our desktop use our graphics card...when we unplug our ac adapters, that means we'll be draining our battery life. Since I can't figure out powermizer, for the time being is there a way to turn off Aero when your running on battery?

Aero doesnt use as much as you think so unless you planned on keeping say... 15 active window soverlapping each other dont worry about high GPU usage on battery.
