having trouble with kernel config
was wondering if patching had to do withit
make bzImage options return error , right when its abt
to make the kernel image.
is there a specific order to using more than one patch?
ie < preemptive kernel, acpi, etc..>

I would start with clean vanilla kernel src. then apply the 2.4.21-pre5 patch, then the acpi 2.4.21-pre4 ( 5 was buggy for me ) then the preempt.
Can you come on IRC ? I could help ya more.
irc server irc.damaged.net
channel #sager ( /join #sager in your irc client )
Remember, if ya want to apply 2.4.20 patches, apply them first, then the pre release one. As soon as your prereleas patch is applied, your version.h file is changed and even if the dir is still linux-2.4.20, the source tree will then not accept any 2.4.20 patches.
Hope that makes sense.
