Just downloaded and burned Mandrak 9.0 (gotta love those fat pipes) and I was wondering if anybody has or knows where I can get a good image of the box and cds so I can make some nifty labels. I bougt one of those labelers a few years back and it's been collecting dust so.....I figured I'd use it.

Gonna try dual booting with Win2k and Mandrake. Haven't decided how I'm gonna break up this 40gb drive yet though.

With mandrake you shouldn't need any bigger than a 4 Gig partition, especially if you're only playing around. Mandrake comes with a lot of cool stuff, and 4 Gigs should be more than enough to experiment, including the swap space.

If you're looking to do more with it, partition more. Just remember that windows doesn't read Linux partitions, but you can read your windows partitions in Linux.

I JUST downloaded Mandrake 9 and haven't burned it yet. I tried Debian but had a hard time with the install, and I didn't have problems when I installed Mandrake 8.1 a while back, so I came back to it.

This is a simple label link:

I couldn't really find any more, but if I do happen to stumble upon a better looking one, I'll let you know.

I did some googling and found these:

That's pretty nice. It shouldn't be too hard to change the numbers, but there is the matter of labeling the CD, and it looks like those might not fit.

ah, the magic of paint shop pro. I'll try and find a place to post them when I'm done.

Cool. I might be able to make one for you but it seems like you have it under control. Make sure to put Tux in it ;)

I installed Mandrake 9 yesterday. Ah...I love it. I don't have WINE on it yet and I don't have drakfont installed to import windows fonts, but I likey.

Which window system are you using? I use Enlightenment, but it seems that KDE is the closest to a windows clone. I like Enlightenment because of its pager and the window wrapping.
