1. I am curious if its safe to upgrade her comp to Windows 7?
2. Where would I get Windows 7 Drivers for all her goodies?
3. Any issues with this particular model and Windows 7?
(I should mention its Windows 7 64-bit)
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Selling my Dell M4400 and found a ASUS G Series G71Gx-A2 on Newegg.com for $1800.

Anyone have experience with this system?
Some of my software will not run on Win 7 64 bit - any idea how difficult it would be to downgrade, driver-wise, on this laptop to Win 7 32 bit or even Win XP Pro?

I have an Asus M6N that I've recently started using again. Sure it's a little underpowered according to today's standards but it'll surf the net and play videos just fine.

Anyway, I had to update the Intel wireless drivers to make them compatible with the security settings on the wireless router but that made it so that HControl.exe was no longer working. It will crash on start up.

I did a little reading and some people claimed to have success with a modified version of hcontrol. However, the website this modified version was originally downloaded from is no longer in use it seems. (http://power4gear.bk-kicks.com/hcontrol.htm)

Does anyone have this old modified version of hcontrol that they could give me?

Or is there another program I can use to make the hotkeys functional again? I do not even care if the Power4Gear program doesn't work properly because there are plenty of replacement options for that program and I don't even change the power settings very often anyway.

Thanks!
