So my 8662 screen turned off in the middle of my work on it one day. Turned the machine off and turned it back on. Still not screen through post. Put it in my bag got home tried again worked just fine.

Shut it off go to turn it back on and no screen through post, so i let it sit for awhile and try again and it works.

Sometimes it will stay on for hours and hours and hours without issue other times i'll be checking e-mail and bam no screen, and when i restart still no screen.

what could be causing this? I thought it might be a connection to the screen maybe i'm moving it just enough? I am not sure. I cant seem to find any disassembly instructions on the web for this laptop either.

Any help would be awesome it wont turn on and I have school work on there that i need off.
