has anyone who has a 3000 upgraded their ram and was it difficult?

right, i know, but the chasis should be the same as the 3000 and there are people on this forum that own one klas, i sent you a pm

bump how are the speakers on it? we're also all trying to figure out-- there's an external access panel to switch out the RAM. we think that this is only one slot however and that the second slot is inside and not so easily...

so we'd only be allowed to upgrade the 1 outside stick and not the other inside? that's not going to work!!! edit: i just read part of the manual...it says "memory upgradeable up to 2 GB DDR-SDRAM with 2 slots" so how...

no one has really answered my 2 questions: when upgrading: 1) is there a reason to choose name brand (i.e. Kingston or what-not) over 3rd party RAM? 2) can you directly swap the 80 gig stock HD for a 7200 Hitachi? also...are...

i've heard it can get about 4 hours... now that i've got the RAM figured out, would it be difficult to do a direct swap for a 7200 hitachi drive?

they said they won't do it. acer only offers it as is. i asked them if they'd be willing to up the ram and hd for me after i bought it and they said no. how much would it cost to upgrade the ram at a local comp store up to 1024. i...
