Install XP first, then Mandrake
Mandrake will read fat32 and ntfs but I wouldn't recomend writing to it.
When you boot from the Mandrake CD you'll prolly need to type linux noauto for the install to work

Clevo doesn't make the motherboard for the old 88xx series anymore right?

Right click on My Computer go to Manage
Click on Disk Management
You should see 1 or more partions with no labels and squiggly lines through it.
Then you can format the partion as NTFS or Fat32
