If I bought that from a factory outlet and got massive savings then yeah I will accept it, but if you paid full retail price for it then you should be entitle to a defect free product not a "free defect on your product"

this issue affects both XP home and Pro versions... a little reluctant to install winXP pro as it states that I would void the warranty if a retail version of Windows OS is installed on the notebook...although I did consider trying but...
