does that apply to the XPS2? the 9300 in the title turned me away & I've never opened up my laptop.

Just tested it... Yeah it's definatly my fan. So is it easy to replace?

Aside from unscrewing the bottom screws and grounding myself... Is there anything else I need to know before taking it apart? And is a fan replacement easy to do??

Is the hard drive on the right side? All of a sudden my laptop started making alot of clicking noises coming from the right side....

I just got my xps2 a month ago and my fan on the right side is making a grinding noise. I did not abuse the laptop in any way.... But now I'm forced to ask for a replacement fan or send it in for dell to replace it. If I have them...

Is the MX518 the same size as the MX510?
