well either you ahve a high rpm HD or your HD is getting old and louder.. just make sure it doesn't start doing the click of death loop.. thats the worst. I have a long story about that but i wont get into it..

The plastic on these notebooks is terrible, my Uniwill 258kaO based on the ferrari series has hairlin cracks all over.. very frustrating.. I may sand mine down and epoxy it then repaint it with a thick paint to keep it from cracking

unfortunately no I have the same plight. Would be nice if they made laptops a little bit more upgradeable in that aspect.
