Bump!
Bump!
I got the tablet a couple of months ago. Very nice setup with the swing out keyboard underneath. Unfortunately for me the screen is just a tad too small to see while mounted on the Jottodesk in my truck. I'd like a 13.3" screen...
I picked up a gig of A-Data a few months ago and have had no issues with it.
I grabbed the A-Data from Newegg and it's been great. I run it it at 100% load 24/7 and it's the most stable thing I have.
The question I asked myself was: How often will I be looking at a pure black screen and do I care if that's the only time I can see it. For me, I couldn't see it in any other screen so, effectively, it doesn't exist.
Did you pull the battery with the notebook powered on? I lose the temperature sensors a couple times a month and normally have to uninstall and re-install FANGUI to get it back. Could the problem be related to some battery check logic?
Targus makes one that goes up to 120W and since the battery charge circuit only works with the Dell AC circuit, the machine should not draw more than 120W since it's not charging the battery. My machine draws about 105W at full load...
This is, and it's cheaper too!. I am using it in my 9100. rogueone is correct, normally Dell puts in 2 DIMMS, so unless you ordered yours with 1 DIMM, you will need 2 sticks and replace the 2 in there now.
