I totally agree with thomaszak and his post above. Only ATI X800's and above, and NVIDIA 6800GT's and above, AHHEM DESKTOP CARDS!!!, can make 11K and above in 3DMark03. I can already tell that people are going to say... well it's based...

I have used Norton in the past and found it to be ok but it is a real cpu drainer IMO. I use NOD32 it is very small only uses 12MB RAM. It finds trojans, which norton would not catch (from my experience) and it is updated extremely...

Well the 9100 does put out a lot of heat but it does an extremely good job of removing it because of the big fans etc. You say the heat is degrading your performance. I am not convinced that it is a flaw in the laptop at all. Now i ask...

i have tried ati tool and it shows that a card can go a lot highr than is really possible IMO. That is why i use radlinker, I don't trust ATI tool.

yes the right fan usually puts out a lot more air. I think it is becuase that fan 3 (the right one) only has to go through one heatsink, fan 2 (the left one) has to go through 2 both the cpu and gpu.

If you use fn+z+r with all 3 fans on high there should be a massive amount of air coming from the back. I have a 2.8 prescott and with my fans on high while gaming temps usually don't go above 62

Well there are 2 ways you can accomplish this. I8kfangui is constantly fighting with the bios over control of your fans if you only want to use fangui press fn+z+r and go to where it says "BIOS THermal Controls" move your wouse...
