have you tried using the omega drivers? I use them for my mobile x1600 in my w2jb when I play source and they seem to give me the best possible performance without any kind of video issues.

It is really up to you. I would buy the acer because I hate dell with a passion, but that's just me. If something goes wrong with the laptop I'm guessing Dell will have better support.

I got my new battery for my W2JB today, now I have 3 hrs of battery life again when I have my laptop plugged into the AC should I leave my battery in or take it out? If I have to take it out what charge should I store it with?
