same thing here, i didn't notice a dead pixel on my laptop until 2 weeks after i got my laptop, right in the middle as well, its a blue one, so noticable only in a black background, usually when watching a movie, otherwise i don't see...
that 17" new yorker one, i think its the sager (clevo) 8790....doesn't look that great on the sager page....but looks really nice, thin and sleek on the other one....hmmmm
so....whats the quick and dirty story behind this website? e-retailer? that laptop looks sick though. who's the odm? is it for real? price seems steep though.
if it doesn't seem a whole lot faster is maybe because your not needing the extra cpu power to begin with. if your just emailing, word processing, surfin, etc....doing light stuff....then yeah, no noticable diff. maybe if u multi task...
neither......got the 12" shinza, for the asus s5ne. the laptop seems to slip down into a groove if i hold the sleeve by its width facing up....leaving about an inch free above....i think i can buy some black styro foam at a craft...

i have to say its a little large on the length. wish it was more snugged tight, its the smallest one they had....oh well, very nice product.....recommend to anyone.
