I'm pretty sure there's a way, tough not the "official" one ^^
Try to ask Dell, if you're sure about the fact that 7600g were sold on m90's too.. and let we know something about that plz
I know thanks to setfsb spd interrogations.
The m90's one is a Cypress (cyxxxx). The e1705 is an ICS (icsxxxxxx). I'm pretty sure about this. And, the m90 has a different motherboard, also (docking station)
I know the e1705's pll, i don't know the m90's one. Noone knows it. Datasheets from Cypress don't help much. I know what are the risks for raising the fsb only, and i know how much to risk. But i have no experience in hex-editing the pll...
Noone knows for sure, and btw 200+ mhz more are pretty sure, imho. The fsb is 166(x4), you can raise easily to 180; you get around 200mhz more and pci/agp fsbs raise not that much.
I've already data-mined trough Google, don't worry. Fsb overclocking is NOT multiplier overclocking. The problem isn't the software, ZX81, but the pll chip support, that can be obtained only trough knowing the pll-chip ID. So noone has...
Hi all, i'm an owner of a m90, which i recently received from dell in substituion of an e1705. Talking with abo, the developer of setFSB, it seems the m90 mounts a Cypress clock generator. There are real possibilities he can develop a...
