I myself wouldn't worry. The 8600 I received June 4th with the Samsung had severe light leakage and 2 dead pixels. Also, it was very dark. Next to my Samsung 193P LCD monitor it looked pathetic.

If I may inquire as to the ship date you were given....the ATI 9600 has a current 13-day lead time. I have had an order in for a week and the ship date is June 21.....ugh.
