Turns out there is just one crack that I can find near the NIC/Modem
The 2nd crack is along the front of the case. Again, this doesn't seem to effect it.

He and I both had to contact dell to get them to ship us a 5400 rpm drive. I just got mine yesterday. I'm surprised the drive comes shipped with most of the software your system should have come with.
