you definitley are having troubles..i have the same laptop as you and i get about 80fps with 1900x1200 resolutions and graphics to the max. Go with updated drivers from www.laptopvideo2go.com make sure you uninstall your old ones first...

Definitley worth trying the new 169.04 driver. I would say i got a 10fps boost. I can now run at 1024x768 with all HIGH at about 25fps. Thats on a bios modded 7900gs with a core2 duo t5600

pretty good news here...1024x768 at around 25-30 fps with 7900gsx stock speeds on medium...this game looks amazing at any rez...put it on 800x600 and crank the high...sandbox is so kick ass...cant wait till my quadro 2500m comes in!
